Overview

This suite of practical, country-adapted tools is designed to support the introduction and scale-up of antenatal multiple micronutrient supplementation (MMS) within routine antenatal services. Developed through implementation research in Nigeria and Pakistan, these resources translate evidence into actionable guidance for frontline health workers and program managers working to improve maternal nutrition and birth outcomes.

The collection includes job aids and counselling tools that support consistent messaging and adherence and help strengthen service delivery during antenatal care. Together, these tools help operationalize MMS programming by reinforcing key behaviours, standardizing counselling and providing pregnant women with clear, accessible information throughout their care journey.
