Our Work

Turning evidence into action

Nutrition International is a global nutrition organization working to improve the health and wellbeing of people facing malnutrition, especially women, adolescent girls and children. For more than 30 years, we have focused on delivering proven, cost-effective nutrition interventions and helping countries translate evidence into better policies, programs and services.

Across Asia, malnutrition remains a major public health and development challenge. Nutrition International works in Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Pakistan and the Philippines, tailoring our support to national and subnational priorities. This includes improving maternal nutrition, infant and young child nutrition and adolescent nutrition; supporting vitamin A supplementation; expanding access to iron, folic acid and other essential micronutrients; and advancing large-scale food fortification, including iodized and fortified salt, wheat flour and rice. We also work with governments to strengthen the policies, planning, data and delivery systems that underpin effective nutrition programs. Through this combination of targeted interventions and country-led action, we help improve nutrition outcomes and support lasting progress across the region.
