Overview

This roadmap aims to provide a global strategy to improve vitamin D status, with specific focus on low- and middle-income countries.

A working group was convened to review research and policy documents, discuss relevant programmatic experiences, and engage in workshops.

It was recommended that vitamin D food fortification and/or supplementation be implemented to target at risk populations.
