Overview

Developed by Nutrition International in collaboration with WHO and UNICEF for the Global Breastfeeding Collective, this resource presents the costs, impacts and economic returns of scaling three evidence-based packages for breastfeeding protection, promotion and support through 2035. It estimates effects on breastfeeding rates, child and maternal health, and economic losses. The investment case is intended to guide evidence-informed advocacy, policy development and investment to accelerate progress toward global breastfeeding and nutrition targets.
