Working with Amref Health Africa and respective Ministries of Health, we strengthen delivery of cost-effective nutrition interventions through existing community health platforms to reach more than 10 million people annually.
Community outreach and nutrition expertise
Amref Health Africa reaches more than 10 million people across Africa every year with community-based health, water and sanitation, and disease prevention services. The organization aims to improve how it delivers nutrition services through its existing programs.
Combining forces to scale up nutrition interventions
With support from Nutrition International through NLIFT (Nutrition Leverage and Influence for Transformation), Amref will build its capacity to deliver cost-effective nutrition interventions using the organization’s existing community health platforms.

This partnership combines Amref’s community outreach know-how and Nutrition International’s nutrition expertise. The partners will use the results of the nutrition mapping to identify areas of collaboration to strengthen nutrition interventions, and to integrate nutrition into all of Amref’s program sectors and countries.
