As the Country Director for Nutrition International Indonesia, Sri Kusyuniati is responsible for the overall management of Nutrition International’s programs in the country, including program development, project and activity management, the dissemination and evaluation of interventions, and resource mobilization.
Kusyuniati has worked in academia and the development sector in Indonesia for over 25 years. Her areas of expertise include maternal, newborn and child health, gender equality, sexual and reproductive health and rights, youth rights and health systems. Kusyuniati has founded various non-government organizations in Indonesia including Yayasan Annisa Swasti, Rifka Annisa Women’s Crisis Center, the Indonesian Society for Social Transformation, dance4life Indonesia and The Indonesian White Ribbon Alliance for Safe Motherhood.
Prior to joining Nutrition International, Kusyuniati was the Chief of Party for USAID-Bersama and the Acting Country Director for Winrock International. She spent five years as the Country Representative for Rutgers WPF Indonesia. Throughout her career, she has led various development programs with national and international NGOs.
Kusyuniati has a PhD in Political Studies from Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne.
