Dr. AKM Musha is Nutrition International’s Country Director in Bangladesh. With nearly 30 years of experience in public health and international development, he provides strategic leadership for the Bangladesh country program, guiding government engagement, strengthening partnerships, and driving resource mobilization to advance national nutrition priorities.

Before joining Nutrition International, Dr. Musha spent 16 years as Country Director with Concern Worldwide and Helen Keller International in Bangladesh, Sudan and Malawi. He also served as Interim Director of Institutional Funding and Advocacy with Concern Worldwide UK, where he oversaw a global funding portfolio of more than USD 33 million and supported organizational positioning at both country and global levels.

His technical expertise spans public health, nutrition, food security, WASH, and climate resilience. Throughout his career, Dr. Musha has led large, multidisciplinary teams and brings extensive experience in strategic planning, operational management, financial oversight, risk mitigation and partnership development. He has worked closely with major donors including FCDO, the EU, Irish Aid, and USAID, as well as government partners, UN agencies, civil society and the private sector. He is also deeply committed to embedding safeguarding and gender equality across programs and teams.

Dr. Musha holds a degree in medical science with a focus on public health.
