Wahdini Hakim is Nutrition International’s Deputy Country Director in Indonesia. With 20 years of experience as a medical doctor and public health practitioner, Wahdini has specialized in maternal, neonatal, child, and adolescent health, nutrition, and primary healthcare. In her role, she supports country-level strategy, program planning and implementation, working closely with government counterparts, development partners and civil society to strengthen health and nutrition systems nationwide.
Prior to joining Nutrition International, Wahdini played key technical and leadership roles across large-scale initiatives, including USAID’s MOMENTUM Country and Global Leadership Program, the Partnership to Accelerate Stunting Reduction in Indonesia, and broader primary health care strengthening efforts. Throughout her career, she has led national technical teams, designed and scaled community-based health and nutrition models, and advanced evidence-based advocacy — contributing to improved service delivery, strengthened health workforce capacity, and better maternal and newborn outcomes across Indonesia.
Wahdini holds a medical degree from the University of Indonesia and a Master’s degree in Women’s Health from the University of Melbourne.
