Pandemics, conflicts, climate shocks and increasing levels of debt are threatening hard-won development gains, while aid cuts and changes in funding priorities are creating catastrophic aid shortages globally.
Led by the French government, the 2025 Nutrition for Growth Summit (N4G Paris) aims to put nutrition at the heart of sustainable development policies through coordinated action. By generating a coordinated set of new commitments to integrate nutrition across multiple sectors, N4G Paris seeks to make the fight against malnutrition a universal cause that unites stakeholders at the national, regional and global levels.
It’s understandable that people might feel helpless and powerless in the face of the rising storm of conflict and instability in the world, but more than ever, we must remind ourselves that there are reasons for hope. By prioritizing nutrition today, we can build a healthier, more prosperous and more stable tomorrow for everyone — but we have to act now.
