Titilola Abolade is the Program Director for Nutrition International in Nigeria, overseeing all of Nutrition International’s operational activities in the country. She provides leadership, efficient management of resources and oversight of programs, ensuring they are aligned with the strategic priorities of both Nutrition International and the Government of Nigeria.
Titilola oversees a diverse portfolio of nutrition programs in Nigeria. Her responsibilities include managing country programs from the design phase to completion, ensuring targets are achieved in line with program objectives, monitoring and evaluation, advocacy and resource mobilization, and building and sustaining strategic partnerships with various stakeholders including government, development partners and donors.
Titilola is a nutritionist and public health specialist with more than 13 years of experience in diverse program areas including maternal and child health and nutrition, HIV/AIDS, adolescent and young people’s reproductive health and rights, family planning promotion and advocacy, eye health, inclusive education, neglected tropical diseases control, and other development programs.
Prior to joining Nutrition International, Titilola worked with the Association for Reproductive and Family Health and Sightsavers’ Nigeria country office, where she provided programmatic and management support to a range of public health and nutrition programs across the country.
Titilola holds a Master of Public Health degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition, both from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria.
