Nutrition International launches free online course to build leadership capacity in the nutrition sector
This course provides guidance and practical tools to improve the leadership skills of professionals working in the field of nutrition .

Ottawa, CANADA – Nutrition International has launched its new online course, “Evolving Leaders in Nutrition.” This free course is developed to build leadership capacity among nutrition professionals, to create an environment to address current and future nutrition outcomes.
The course is designed specifically to support early career professionals working in the field of nutrition, or those who want to increase support for nutrition programming within their government or organizational context.

“The multisectoral and evolving nature of the nutrition sector requires well-honed leadership skills if we are to scale up nutrition interventions and stay on track to meet the global nutrition targets,” said Margaux Stastny, Vice President, External Relations, Nutrition International. “As we continue our quest to end malnutrition, we must foster and build leadership capacity among nutrition professionals to turn knowledge into impact – and this course provides the tools and information to accomplish that.”
The course includes the practical tools and guidance needed to develop an action plan for growth as a leader and provides a reflection and action journal that allows student to implement the concepts learned at the end of each module into practice.
“Evolving Leaders in Nutrition” is a free, self-paced and interactive course that can be completed in eight to ten hours, and learners will receive a certificate of completion once all course completion requirements are met.
