Tiringo Kinfegabriel is Nutrition International’s Country Director in Ethiopia. With 20 years of experience in the public health and nutrition sector, she leads program planning and development at the country level, as well as program implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and financial and human resources management in the Ethiopia office.

In her most recent role as Ethiopia Country Representative for Welthungerhilfe (WHH), Tiringo led the development of a comprehensive four-year country strategy, securing new funding streams and establishing a robust monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) framework. Prior to joining WHH, Tiringo served as the Health and Nutrition Program Coordinator at Canadian Physicians for Aid and Relief (C-PAR) Ethiopia. During her tenure, she successfully managed large-scale programs addressing humanitarian needs.

Tiringo’s career began at a government district hospital in Northern Amhara, where she served as a Public Health Officer. Tiringo holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) and a master’s degree in public health sciences.
