Victoria Hopkins is the Global Portfolio Director of Child Survival at Nutrition International. In this role, she oversees vitamin A and zinc/ORS programs in Africa and Asia, working closely with all units to ensure programming is yielding maximum impact, and is locally driven.
With 18 years of experience working in the development and humanitarian sectors in numerous countries around the world, Victoria has developed programs and strategies, and led technical, business development and operational teams. The promotion of child and women’s rights have remained central in her career, including while serving in leadership roles with Save the Children International and Oxfam Canada, prior to joining Nutrition International. She has also worked with the Canadian Government, research agencies, national associations and post-secondary institutions.
Victoria holds a master’s degree in international affairs with a focus on the global political economy from Carleton University. She has completed a graduate certificate with the University of York in the UK, with a focus on humanitarian policy, law and program evaluation.
